Jerry Davenport is the City of La Vergne Media Tech Specialist. He graduated Oakland High School and graduated with a B.S. from Middle Tennessee State University in Radio/Television Production.
Davenport served eight years in the U.S. Navy as a photojournalist and public affairs specialist. He started working for the City of La Vergne in 1997 as a codes inspector before transferring to the public relations department as the media tech specialist. Davenport helped create and implement Channel 3 in 1999.
