Working with partners at Municipal Technical Advisory Service (MTAS), the La Vergne Fire Rescue Department asks residents and business owners to complete a short survey to help plan for the future.
The fire department asked for assistance from MTAS to develop a comprehensive community-driven strategic plan, with this survey being the first step in that process. MTAS is an agency of the University of Tennessee Institute for Public Service that assists and trains municipal officials and employees in Tennessee.
The survey is an integral part of the planning process for the department as Chief Ronny Beasley and his command staff look ahead five years. “The more input we receive, the better we can map out this department’s future,” says Chief Beasley. “For the fire service, the ‘customer’ is our community members, so it’s vital for our residents and business owners to fill out this survey.”
