[ARCHIVED] LPD Officer Spotlight

In a time when the national news is filled with stories of friction between Law Enforcement and citizens, we'd like to highlight the positive efforts of our local La Vergne Police Officers, who are out on the streets interacting with residents and continuing to keep us safe.

Since 2009, Field Training Officer Steve Crotts has been serving the city of La Vergne. You may have seen Officer Crotts over the years patrolling our roads and keeping an eye on our neighborhoods. A fellow Middle Tennessean known for being a family man first, Officer Crotts has become a vital resource to our community as well. He has been passing values of community and professionalism down to other Officers who are under his supervision as a Field Training Officer since 2012.

La Vergne is lucky to have Officer Crotts, whose character is an inspiration to all citizens of La Vergne and Rutherford County. Thank you Officer Crotts for your service to our city and state!
