Get ready to Howl at the Moon once again as the city prepares for the annual 5K run.
The race will be held on October 19th at 8:00 p.m. Registered runners can pick up their bibs at Pavilion B at the back of the park starting at 6:00 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, 115 Floyd Mayfield Drive.
There are 12 different age divisions in which to participate. Under 13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64 and over 65. A male and female winner will be announced in every age division, as well as best overall male and best overall female.
Registration is $25 if sent in before October 9th. Runners can still register after the 9th but the price goes up to $30. Runners will be allowed to register on the day of the race as well as on site.
