The city of La Vergne has come a long way since it was first incorporated in 1972. On June 23rd from 11a.m. - 3p.m. come see how far we have come with historical displays in and around City Hall. This year we will have photos of our city
throughout history, newspaper articles and other memorabilia. Sam the balloon man will be
joining the celebration, along with caricature artist Tracy Latham, and Donnie Fergus will be serving
white beans. Historical displays will include a blacksmith, Clayton King will have
items from years’ past, and Craig Barry will be present with
a musket demonstration. The La Vergne Fire Department will
have fire related items to display and Home Sweet Home Band will be
performing.
This event is free to the public and visitors are encouraged to bring any historical item they would like to
share or display. See y’all there!
