[ARCHIVED] **UPDATE** Wanted Violent Sex Offender Arrested

**UPDATE**

The La Vergne Police Department says Adrean Jones has been arrested. He was taken into custody late Tuesday morning in Murfreesboro and transported him to the Rutherford County Jail. No other details about his arrest were released.


**PREVIOUS STORY**

The La Vergne Police Department along with the Board of Probation and Parole are searching for the below suspect for Tampering with a Monitoring Device. 

The suspect is a known VIOLENT SEX OFFENDER. His last known two locations according to his monitoring device were in the area of Smyrna along Sam Ridley Parkway and I-24 around the hotels, gas stations and Stone Crest Hospital. And in the City of La Vergne along Stones River Road and Murfreesboro Road on foot. His last known address in La Vergne was in the area of Rutherford Point Drive along Floyd Mayfield Drive, and he may have family or friends in the area.

The suspect is ADREAN JONES, black male, 25 yrs old, 5-11”, 205lbs with multiple tattoos on his face and neck. He could also be in the company of a black female by the name of Kiara Kennedy, a 27 year old black female with an address out of Metro Nashville. They are known to stay for short periods of time at area hotels.

The suspect is considered to be “VIOLENT and Dangerous”. If anyone recognizes or knows the whereabouts of this suspect and can help locate him for authorities, please call the La Vergne Police Department at 615-793-7744 or CrimeStoppers at 615-893-STOP (7867).
