We are happy to announce Brittney Barry has been hired as La Vergne Fire Department's first full-time female Firefighter. Barry is a Wilson Central High School graduate and worked at the Walter Hill Volunteer Fire Department here in Rutherford County. "She's dedicated and a hard worker, said Assistant Fire Chief Chris Clark. "We look forward to working with her in the future," said Clark. Barry is no stranger to La Vergne. She has been working the past 3 years as a part-time Firefighter with the city. Congratulations Brittney!
