City Departments

Where the Board of Mayor and Aldermen govern the City of La Vergne, the day-to-day responsibilities to keep the city functioning on behalf of residents are handled by various city departments.

Two city positions are mandated by the City Charter: the city administrator and the city recorder. All city departments play a key role in the functioning of services provided by the city, work that will provide for the public safety and well-being of citizens and visitors alike.
